What does Expedio do? Expedio solves the spatial needs of South Auckland business.This is not just about leasing and selling buildings. We work with businesses to provide appropriate solutions for their space requirements. That can change over time, and involve upsizing, downsizing and/or changes of locations.
Over the past year many of our transactions have been off-market. Agents have come to us with specific customers, and their requirements and where possible we have been able to find solutions that work for them.
Just how good is the Expedio offering?
It is very easy to measure when there are numbers attached. We can measure the size of a warehouse and the size of an office. We can measure the number of car parks and the stud height. But when a tenant signs up for a lease, there is a lot more to the package than the size and the rental. There is an ongoing relationship between tenant and landlord, to ensure that the premises will continue to perform for the tenant as intended. And here is where there is a significant difference between Expedio and many other landlords. At Expedio we see our properties as significant investments. As such we insist on maintaining them so that they retain, and even increase, their value. We also want tenants whose businesses flourish, and often having an appropriate and well functioning building is a part of that.
Additionally, we are always searching for ways in which we can enhance the value of our offering to tenants. In short, a building is not just a building. The management and maintenance of the building is part of the value for tenants.
