Our support will go towards the employment of two professional track builders in several 10 week blocks as different areas of the forest are felled over the next 2-3 years, to help maintain the current trail network and build new tracks in recently felled areas and/or in areas that are not forecast to be felled over the next 10 years.
This project fits into our philosophy of supporting local and national projects that we believe have a wider public good, a range of benefits to the community, low overheads and high impact. We can often be found running or biking off the beaten track, and we know that plenty of exercise delivers a huge range of benefits including improved health and wellbeing.
We will continue to support local and national projects that create opportunities for exercise and fun.
