One of the frustrations which comes when buying industrial property is the amount of work that has to be needlessly done after settlement of a purchase. We find ourselves constantly running around trying to compile information on a property, which should really be handed over in the same way the keys are. Not that some agents are particularly good at fulfilling their key transfer duties! It seems much easier to transfer the commission to their account than it is to transfer the keys to the new owner.

Basic information such as ICP number, water meter number, roller door and airconditioning service records, BWOF details and other contractor details are all minor, but the vendor has them, the purchaser needs them, and how much simpler it would be if they were bundled up with the keys and passed over?
